The Department of Information Technology, A.V.C. College of Engineering,
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marcello Tech,
Tiruchirappalli on 11th September 2025.
Benefits:
● Both the A.V.C. College of Engineering and Marcello Tech believe that close
co-operation between the two would be of major benefits to the student community to
enhance their skills and knowledge and would act as platform in bridging the gap
between academia and industry.
● Marcello Tech and the A.V.C. College of Engineering will give an insight in to the latest
developments/ requirements of the industries. Hence the students can be equipped to
meet evolving challenges in the real world.
● Marcello Tech and the A.V.C. College of Engineering, tie-up will build confidence and
prepare the students to have a smooth transition from academia to industry.
● The students will be permitted for industrial visits to learn the working instruments and
working procedure of Marcello Tech.
● To have joint meetings with faculty of A.V.C. College of Engineering and staff members
of Marcello Tech to discuss on various topics, to have interdisciplinary design and
establishment of working modules and the curriculum requirements relating to the
industries.
● To support setting up of an advance learning centre, this can be utilized for providing
training and projects for students in the college campus itself.
● To guide the students to make the projects by utilization of the training in both premises.
● To provide specific training requirements for students in the latest technological fields
and related software developments.
● To provide forums like workshops and short term training courses.
● Marcello Tech accepted to provide atleast a seminar and a guest lecture for every
semester.
